Noah Carolan, LMFT

My background as a family therapist has given me unique experience in dealing with relationship and interpersonal trauma.

I have extensive training dedicated to relationship attachment problems as well. This enables me to support my clients who are burdened with recurring emotional hurt and distress, particularly as it applies to strained connections with loved ones.

In my professional career I have had a strong interest in modern neurobiology research, and trauma outcome data. In the context of mental health counseling, this has given clinicians like myself insights into the effects and treatment of emotional trauma, and tools to help with successful recovery.

I received my professional training from the Couples and Family Therapy Program at the University of Oregon in 2009. I have lived and worked in Portland for the past seven years.
